Friendly staff. Everything was very clean. Good breakfast buffet. We stay in the house. Ate schnitzel and burger yesterday. Everything very tasty. The burger, without side dish € 13.90, a bit expensive. With a side dish, the price would be right. We are completely satisfied.
The only restaurant in Cochem where we finally saw a vegan option - a vegan burger. Unfortunately so expensive (€ 15 just for the burger without fries, if I remember correctly) that we decided to go again and get something to picnic at Penny's instead. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth it to us.
The food was good (both had burgers), but I found the side dishes too expensive for what was delivered (Coleslaw for € 4.90). Here you just pay for the location. Whoever stops here should know that it is more expensive here!
The service was horrible, staff was standing way too close even if we weren’t in a pandemic I wouldn’t have been comfortabel... They weren’t interested at all and was busy doing other things while serving us. Also a little overpriced but that was expected. Wouldn’t recommend this place at the moment :(
Great for an afternoon break! It’s right in front of the river, the cakes are good (not exceptional but good) and when you ask for a hot chocolate, you get a very big hit chocolate which is always appreciated! We also stayed a bit long to play a board game, and it seemed to be fine with the staff so it was nice of them to let us enjoy ourselves a bit longer.
Wrong time for the baked potato, it is not possible to cancel salad ingredients (the cook doesn't do that) - so plan C for my daughter: apple strudel - it came immediately. My chickenburger was waiting so long that I was beginning to hope I had been forgotten. Unfortunately, I wasn't lucky. What came was a dripping roll with two pieces of soup chicken - or something like that ... garnished with some cucumber and tomato and a strong pressure on the discounter dressing bottle. Inedible! The burger came back uneaten, which didn't bother the lady in the service. The probability of the stupid tourists coming back is finally almost zero. :(
Flammkuchen was good but I had eaten better in other places. I think it's pretty expensive there. So price performance is not quite right. Staff but very friendly and attentive.
There were four of us However, I find it for average people, a little sweet potato and 4 afri cola, 120 € a little overpriced So I personally cannot recommend it and would never go there again In my opinion, you can get nicer with it
Operation bad Eating najjaaaa goes like this, I only say 2 sweet potato portions 15 € And a total of 55 € for 2 burger menus Well, never again Ciao
Very tasty tarte flambee and burger eaten service is also very nice
Bistro restaurant in the hotel "Cochemer Jung". Central location in Cochem. High prices ... 0.5l bottle beer over 6 € 0 3l coke approx. € 4 Burger without fries around 14-16 € Club sandwich with fries around € 18 The service was quick and nice. The dishes were okay so far ... the burger and the sandwich were average. The turkey meat on the sandwich was unfortunately very dry. The burger was well done without being asked. This bistro survives through customers who don't care about the price or tourists (like us) who don't look at the menu at the entrance so closely and then order something with their gritting teeth when they are sitting down. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is incorrect. Prices like in the Nobel Club or Fine Dining Restaurant but it is just a modern bistro in a very good location with standard food ... nothing more. Increased hygiene concept due to corona and additional costs, I can understand it somewhere, but then I have to ask how much was added to the prices? 20-30%? I would not go there again when I am in Cochem.
Ridiculous cup of coffee 3.85
Unfortunately, very disappointing. The service was friendly, the ambience appealing and the menu expensive but modern. In terms of prices and location, we expected at least mediocre quality, if not better. Unfortunately we were served a frozen schnitzel with ready-made salad dressing and a burger with very dry minced meat. You can probably afford it. However, I honestly find it cheeky to serve something like this for the price. Some takeaways can actually do more for 5 euros. Too bad - we cannot recommend the restaurant.
Unfriendly staff, expensive prices, we will not come again 6
Really have a thick neck, should pay for 25 pieces of cake and 2 late macha to 25.10 €, Because the service was too stupid, the guests had to be cashed in beforehand Carefully check your bill
Delicious waffles and cakes. But you also get burgers and Co. So there is something for every time of day and taste. Unfortunately, the waitress was a bit annoyed and unfriendly. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.
Expensive.. Not the greatest service.. Food 3/10
Not as bad as the average rating suggests here. In fact, we ate here quite well outside of the main season (end of December). You can't expect a star cuisine, but all dishes were fresh and lovingly presented. The service could be improved. The two ladies were not really exuberant, and the delivery of the drinks took about 10-12 minutes. Positive: We were informed before ordering that two dishes were sold out due to high demand. Firstly, this can be seen as proof of freshness and secondly, it shows transparency. Hence 2 stars for the service, 4 1/2 for food and the price-performance ratio.
Food good, service rather well ...... A smile would say more than 1000 words.
Drunk and eaten coffee here several times. Staff made an uninterested impression all the time. The food tasted good but the service spoiled the appetite. Despite the fact that we were the only guests who were inside, it took a long time for them to take the order. Upon entering the staff were four at the bar, but we were not greeted.
Unfortunately, I do not know why people here rate everything so bad. So we had been here today on a Sunday and had been pleasantly surprised. It was quite busy and yet the service was very cordial to us. We talked for a long time with one and she said, unfortunately, is partly everywhere, people complain on the Internet rather than personally. I have heard that quite often. Well, that's the way it is with our society. We were really satisfied and the prices are really fair. We can only recommend it.
Cared for food and friendly staff. The price is more expensive than nearby villages where I prefer to stay. Especially during the weekend it can be too busy.
Right along tourist promenade, with a nice view of the parking lot. Variety of wine and beer, including some attractive craft beers, but a bit more expensive than a street or two back. Also I thought the wines we drank here were just OK, not quite as good as the region offers, and in each case not quite as good as what we tasted back by the market square. Lots of burgers, a few traditional German dishes on the menu. Can't quite recommend it.
A fine restaurant that serves a wide viriety of beers and great food.
We visited the second time this coffee or bistro, drank latte macchiato. The service was very friendly. Actually we wanted to eat an ice cream, but it was too expensive for us. The latte tasted great. We were able to delay numbers. The ice cream we bought for 1.10 € next door from the ice cream parlor.
